In November 2023, E-sports demonstration events was successfully held at the Asian Games for the first time. This event represents the first time that the innovative technology group represented by China Mobile 5G and communication technology, and the digitally-intelligent competitive products and events carried by computing power network and intelligent equipment have entered the intercontinental competition stage of OCA Asian member states, representing the new direction of future sports development, and the first milestone in the deep integration of science and technology and sports. As a key participant, IRENA has assisted the Asian E-Sports Federation (AESF) in making this e-sports milestone event a success.
